Hong Kong International Police Painting Exhibition
The International Police Association is the largest police social organization in the world. To promote friendship among police officers from different countries/regions, the International Police Association (Hong Kong Section) plans to hold the “Hong Kong International Police Painting Exhibition.” This will allow police personnel from home and abroad to showcase their artistic talents and play the role of Hong Kong as a center for cultural and artistic exchange between China and foreign countries. Through painting, it will vividly present the daily work of the police force in safeguarding political security, maintaining social stability, and ensuring public tranquility, allowing the public to better understand the police departments and the mission of the police force.

Eligibility:
1. International Police Association members / International Police Association (Hong Kong Section) members / Serving or retired Hong Kong police officers, auxiliary police / Serving or retired Mainland China PSB and PLA personnel.
2. The personal information of the participants must be accurate and meet the entry requirements, otherwise the qualification for participation and winning awards will be canceled.

B、 Registration Methods and Submission Instructions
Registration Fee: Free of charge
i. Participants should fill out the “Registration Form” individually and email it along with high-resolution photos (300dpi) of the artwork to info@yshk-art.com before October 15, 2024.
ii. The list of winners will be announced on October 23, 2024. The winning works should be submitted in person or mailed to 3/F, Kuo Wah Building, 342 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Tel: 2154 3330) or Room 401, Unit 1, Block 2, Liantang Garden, 128 Liantang Road, Luohu District, Shenzhen (Tel: 15994786991) by November 10, 2024* at the latest, with "Hong Kong International Police Painting Exhibition, the organizing committee collects" written on the package. Failure to submit the physical work or late submission will result in the cancellation of the winning qualification.
iii. All winning works will be uniformly framed by the organizing committee in Hong Kong. When mailing the winning works, participants should use an envelope or tube to properly package the work, and the postage will be paid by the recipient.
C、 Work Specifications
a. Artwork canvas size:
Sketches or watercolor works should not exceed 40x50cm;
Oil paintings should not exceed 50x60cm;
Chinese ink paintings should not exceed 68x136cm.
b. The type of artwork is not limited, including watercolor, pastel, Chinese ink, sketches, paper-cutting, etc. (computer graphics are excluded).
c. The subject matter of the artwork should demonstrate the mission of the police, with healthy content, full of positive energy, and can fully reflect the participant's observation, imagination, and expressiveness.
d. Please attach the registration information on the back of the work, indicating the name, title of the work, and contact phone number.
e.Each person can submit an unlimited number of entries.

*For participant’s works that did not make the final selection, they will all receive an electronic participation certificate as encouragement.
E、 All participant’s works will not be returned, and the winning works will be collected by the International Police Association (Hong Kong Branch).
The International Police Association (Hong Kong Branch) will have the right to donate, sell or auction of the works.
F、 Terms and Conditions
a. The personal information provided must be true and accurate.
b. The submitted works must be original creations and cannot be plagiarized. If any plagiarism is discovered, or the work has been submitted to other competitions before, the participant will be disqualified immediately. The submitted works should not infringe on the copyrights of any third party. If there is any copyright dispute over the submitted work, the participant shall bear all legal responsibilities, and the organizers, co-organizers, and supporting organizations shall not be held liable.
c. Once the submitted work is received, it cannot be modified. The organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, mailing, or delivery errors of the submitted works.
d. The submitted works will be reviewed by the organizers to ensure they do not contain any violent, pornographic, or other undesirable content, and do not constitute libel, threats, illegality, obscenity, indecency, incitement, offense, or racial hatred.
e. The organizers reserve the right to use, modify, and reproduce the works for promotional and publicity purposes in any media without the prior consent of the participants.
f. The judging panel has the final decision on the competition results and awards, and the participants must abide by the decisions of the judging panel.
g. In case of any dispute, the organizing committee reserves the right to make the final decision on all competition arrangements.
h. By registering for the competition, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. If any of the terms and conditions are violated, the participant may be disqualified.
